    Group Tax Manager - Africa

    Responsibilities:

    • Accounting for taxes and related party transactions
    • Tax compliance and audits
    • Transfer pricing
    • Legislation
    • Corporate activities affecting your region
    • Review all opinions that are issued by the Tax Specialist
    • Collaboration across functions and business units
    • Tax policy and tax risk management

    Requirements:

    • B.Com Hons (Taxation) or B.Com plus a Higher Diploma in Tax
    • Master’s in international Tax or similar qualification an advantage

    Team Leader Investor Services

    Job Description

    You'll be responsible for ensuring team work allocation, training and ensure the team meets client services levels in a professional and timely manner.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead team processing daily transactions accurately and timeously 
    • Manage queries and daily issues that arise 
    • Find efficient methods for the team to perform optimally 
    • Maintain relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers 
    • Manage and report on error rates, productivity levels, pending cases, follow ups, cost to backdate and exception reports 
    • Manage operational policies and procedures, implement SOP's 
    • Manage financial losses ensure accuracy and efficiency 
    • Provide on-going support to Investor Services Manager
    • Evaluate staff performance regularly, provide effective feedback

    • Contribute to business planning 

    Requirements: 

    • Minimum of tertiary financial qualification, Commerce, Investments, Economics
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in leading a teams of client service consultants and administrators in a related environment
    • Strong understanding of the Unit Trust product market 
    • Advanced MS Excel skills,
    • Strong leadership ability and influencing skills
    • Highly numerate, analytical and detailed orientated
    • Excellent communication and planning skills

    Statuatory Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of local statutory financial statements
    • Preparation of US Gaap
    • Tax packs and managing external audit
    • Draft financial statements
    • Provide technical guidance as required

    Requirements

    • Minimum of an Accounting Degree and 3 years experience in a similar role
    • Must have experience with the preparation of financial statements and international accounting exposure, particularly larger international corporates UK & EU (this would be a plus!)

    Creditors Assistant Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Sending out of remittance at the of the month
    • Generating PO numbers and supplying it to transporters
    • Ensuring accurate uploads of supplier PO’s from client platform into accounting system 
    • Processing of Supplier invoices in Accounting system, matching to PO’s and ensuring supporting POD’s are attached
    • Monthly reconciliation of creditors accounts
    • Following up on outstanding POD’s for completed loads, maintaining a tracking schedule to ensure POD’s are received on a timely basis from transporters
    • Follow up on and resolving transporter queries relating to invoices and pod’s
    • Maintains historical records by filing documents
    • Maintaining company accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
    • Assisting in annual audit by providing auditors with required information to verify accounts
    • Any other ad hoc duties required

    Requirements:

    • Matric
    • Financial Diploma / Certificate
    • 2 Years creditors experience

    Medical Aid Administrator

    Responsibilities:

    • Help advise clients on Plan types and choices mostly Discovery Medical Aid
    • Submissions of health applications and Gap applications (mostly Discovery) 
    • Removing of dependants from a scheme onto their own scheme
    • Adding dependants onto existing schemes
    • Answering vitality queries and doing activations (training can be given) 
    • Assisting with Wellness days 
    • Doing H4M and discovery health presentations at year end and to secure a new scheme
    • Dealing with travel cover and implementation thereof

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of Discovery Medical Aid
    • RE5 / RE1 (advantageous)
    • Matric essential
    • MS Office
