• A 5* Lodge, Guest house and Farm house with accommodation for up to 44 guests and caters to a predominantly upmarket British clientele. Located south-east of Dundee in KwaZulu Natal.

Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Guest House manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall running of the Guest House (which consists of six rooms and two guide rooms).

This includes but is not limited to: 

• front of house duties
• training and supervising of staff at meals and accounts.
• management of housekeeping
• management of the bar
• guest relations
• stock control
• ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• hosting guests

Qualifications

• Hospitality Management Diploma or related.

Skills
Candidates should be:

• ambitious
• hard-working and have experience in hospitality and management. 
• Candidates should also be neatly presented
• organized
• have excellent time-management skills
• work well under pressure
• have good communication skills and have a passion for guest service and experience. 
• They must have the ability to motivate and drive a team. 
• The candidate must be articulate and fluent in English and the ability to speak any other languages may be useful but is not necessary. 
• It is advantageous to be in possession of a clean driver’s licensee.

Salary / Package

• Starting salary R10,000 (negotiable/ dependent on experience).
