Handover Clerk at MegChem

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Minimum Grade 12.
•  Minimum 4 years’ working experience.
•  Good communication skills in English – written and verbal.
•  Proficient in MS Office suite.
•  Professional image.
•  Previous handover or project co-ordination experience in a petrochemical environment will be an advantage.
•  Be able to work in a team and under pressure.
•  Valid Code B or EB driver’s license with own transport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing administrative handover responsibilities for a dynamic Project Management Department.
•  Update and utilize document management system for projects.
•  Liaise with clients, suppliers, inspection authorities and others.
•  Handover control – compile and implement a handover philosophy and handover control system with the project managers.
•  Manage punching process – weekly punch meetings, prepare punch packs, planning and scheduling, arrange internal and client punches, daily reporting, document control on punching lists, etc.
•  Quality control – ensure data packs are ready, perform frequent squad checks, manage end-of-job documentation, flange management, change control management on site, etc.
