Minimum Requirements    

• A minimum requirement of a Professional Degree in Education and/or a four (4) year professional teaching qualification
• Teaching experience within the ISASA School System is essential.
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy is imperative.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as to manage a team.
• Ability to identify with the values, culture, and ethos of the school.
• Valid SACE, Police clearance, Sexual offenders, and Child protection certificates
• Experience in a leadership/management position will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Encouraging, creating, and directing the pursuit of excellence and innovation in the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Researching and investigating current global educational trends and the implementation of such activities.
• Identifying and facilitating staff development programmes and staff opportunities for growth
• Monitoring academic growth and development within the various disciplines
• Regular consultation with the academic staff, Subject Leaders, Phase Psychologist, and HOD of Intermediate Phase.
• Providing guidance and advice to staff by means of class observation(s), and regular review of pupil activities, and tracking pupil results.
