We’re partnering with a highly respected industry player to identify a seasoned Head of Finance to take the reins of a strategically critical portfolio. As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of group financial reporting, planning and analysis, statutory compliance, tax, treasury and payroll. Your expertise will support key business decisions and ensure the organization meets all internal and external financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Full oversight of financial reporting, consolidations, and statutory compliance across the group.
Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, group budgets, tax filings, and financial statements.
Drive high-level financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling for strategic decision-making.
Oversee equity compensation schemes, payroll functions, and treasury operations.
Collaborate with external auditors, board members, BEE stakeholders, and executive management.
Provide leadership and mentoring to a large finance team, ensuring operational efficiency and professional growth.
Ideal Profile
CA(SA) qualification (mandatory) with 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in senior leadership.
Strong exposure to listed company reporting standards and ideally experience in mining or resources.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines across jurisdictions.
Ethical, results-driven leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
