    Head of Social & Digital

    Overview

    • LePub Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Social and Digital to lead and elevate our digital and social media output across key clients. This hybrid role blends creativity, strategy, operations, and hands-on execution. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, capable of inspiring and managing a team of five social specialists while providing digital guidance to lead creatives.

    Responsibilities
    Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of five social media professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
    • Provide clear direction and feedback to ensure consistent quality of output.

    Creative & Strategic Guidance

    • Partner with lead creatives to shape digital-first ideas and campaigns.
    • Elevate the creative quality of social and digital work across all clients.
    • Translate brand strategies into impactful digital and social executions.

    Operational Excellence

    • Oversee day-to-day social and digital operations, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Implement best practices for workflow, content production, and approvals.
    • Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.

    Client Support & Collaboration

    • Act as a trusted advisor on digital and social strategies for key clients.
    • Present ideas, strategies, and performance reports with confidence and clarity.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in leading social and digital teams within an agency or brand environment.
    • Strong creative sensibility with the ability to critique and elevate work.
