Head of Trade Marketing Africa - Automotive Aftermarket at Bosch Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Job Description

• The purpose of the role is to lead, motivate and coach a growing team of marketing associates located in seven African countries
• Supporting sales team and customers, to achieve the organizations KPI’s
• Defining and executing the marketing strategy (marketing mix) for the Automotive Aftermarket  (AA) division in Africa
• Develop strategy and guide implementation to increase market share for a range of AA products in the African market
• Guide, lead, and manage product specialists in;
  • Product specific sales planning and forecasting
  • Product specific sales support
  • Product specific market intelligence
  • Product specific pricing and margin management
• Input in communication strategy
• Advertising & promotional (A&P) budget management

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:

• Some understanding of vehicle assembly and vehicle mechanics 
• 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar role preferably in automotive aftermarket
• 5 years+ leadership experience in the African market which should include the leading of a virtual team
• Strong communication skills
• High level of marketing experience, and solid understanding of sales
• Experienced in MS Office especially MS Excel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric / Grade 12 and a relevant Degree in Engineering, and/or Marketing 
• MBA or related qualification will be an advantage
