Health Safety Environment Engineer

Our client, a leading global FMCG company is actively looking for a technical Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) professional to manage and control activities of their SHE program related to contractor management activities and by implementing SHE systems in the Maintenance department such as procedures, inspection and practices in compliance with local legislation and global SHE requirements.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Lead SHE and Engineering projects
• Implement and maintain site SHE inspections, policies and procedures in the Maintenance department
• Lead Engineering and Planned Maintenance management of change assessments
• Conduct SHE assessments on machine guarding, electrical and flammable operations; collect monitoring data and coordinate corrective and preventive actions

Applicants must have a Degree in Safety, Environment, Engineering or equivalent, coupled with at least 3 to 5 years SHE experience within a manufacturing, production and process safety environment.
