Environmental Health Practitioner (1 Post) at West Coast District Municipality

Job Purpose :

• Implement stategies, programmes and action plans in accordance with the principles of Municipal Health Services (as defined in the National Health Act, 2003) that are in line with the Provincial and National Health Plan, the IDP, Health Business Plan and legislation to ensure an effective municipal health service in the Sub-District.

Qualifications :

• A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or B-Tech degree in Environmental Health.

Experience :

• 2 - 5 years’ relevant experience required and legislative requirement: Completed 1 year minimum community services according to MSR 2021

Requirements :

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Environmental Health For independent practice.
• Successful completion of the compulsory one-year Community Service
• Code EB Drivers license

Salary : R 373 119.15 – R 484 345.23 per annum (TASK grading 11)
Probation Period : 3 Months
