Hospital Clinical Manager at Mediclinic

Mediclinic Limpopo is looking to appoint a Hospital Clinical Manager. 

The Hospital Clinical Manager’s main purpose is to provide clinical leadership to the hospital’s management and staff, and clinical guidance to doctors and allied healthcare service providers associated with the hospital. The position will also monitor and manage standards of clinical practice, clinical performance and clinical quality improvement at the hospital in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:  

• Registration as a Medical Practitioner in the independent practice category, with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) 
• A minimum of 5 years’ post community-service clinical experience as a medical practitioner in a hospital environment
•  Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
•  Management experience and/or clinical experience within a private hospital will be an advantage
• An understanding of Risk Management
• Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control principles
• The ability to be innovative and generate strategies to address future challenges
•  The ability to apply judgement, reach decisions and solve problems
•  A high level of professional integrity
