We are seeking a well-groomed and presented individual to join our team as a Hotel Security Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel premises, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol hotel premises and monitor security systems to identify and address potential safety hazards or security breaches
Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats by maintaining a professional and alert presence at all times
Monitor guest and staff behavior to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Respond to and investigate all security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies
Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with their needs or concerns as necessary
Complete detailed reports of all security incidents and maintain accurate records of security activities
Qualifications:
Atleast 3 Years experience in Hospitality Security
Valid Psira certificate (A-C)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Must have matric
Additional Requirements:
Must be well-groomed and presented at all times
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
