A luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sands region is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry departments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort while leading and developing the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for service excellence and attention to detail.
REQUIREMENT:
RSA ID and legal residence essential
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a Housekeeping Management role within a luxury lodge or hotel
Proven experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality control
Strong administration and stock control experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments
Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet exceptional presentation standards
Supervise, train, and develop housekeeping staff
Manage linen, uniforms, guest laundry, and housekeeping supplies
Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective action where required
Monitor stock levels and control departmental costs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Work closely with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience
