Purpose: Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of HR-related tasks, maintaining employee records and delivering excellent customer service to employees and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data capture, filing, and record-keeping, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
Coordinate employee induction and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Process HR transactions, such as terminations and benefits administration, and administer employment agreements and contracts.
Compile and submit HR reports and statutory records, including weekly, monthly and annual reporting periods.
Conduct various HR tasks, provide HR support and guidance to employees and management, support the HR Executive with reports, meetings, and tasks, and manage the HR Executive's diary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric or equivalent
Diploma in Human Resources or related field
1-2 years of experience in HR administration or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint –
Knowledge of PASTEL HR information system. Knowledge of SAGE will be advantageous
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
