    HR Clerk

    Job Description

    • Purpose: Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of HR-related tasks, maintaining employee records and delivering excellent customer service to employees and management.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data capture, filing, and record-keeping, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
    • Coordinate employee induction and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Process HR transactions, such as terminations and benefits administration, and administer employment agreements and contracts.
    • Compile and submit HR reports and statutory records, including weekly, monthly and annual reporting periods.
    • Conduct various HR tasks, provide HR support and guidance to employees and management, support the HR Executive with reports, meetings, and tasks, and manage the HR Executive's diary.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or equivalent
    • Diploma in Human Resources or related field
    • 1-2 years of experience in HR administration or related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint –
    • Knowledge of PASTEL HR information system. Knowledge of SAGE will be advantageous
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

    Training Officer - Human Resources

    Job Description

    • Purpose: Drive business performance and compliance by designing and delivering effective training and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring accurate reporting on employment equity, SETA, and other statutory requirements

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, develop, and deliver training programs
    • Conduct training needs analysis and develop strategies to address skills gaps
    • Develop and implement training plans, including budgeting and logistics
    • Coordinate external training offerings and skills development interventions
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of training conducted
    • Analyse training outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements
    • Administer Quality Management Systems (QMS) for skills development

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or equivalent with a BTECH Degree in Human Resource or related field
    • 3 years minimum work experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years’ experience in WSP/ATR
    • Valid driver's licence
    • Strong sense of responsibility, diligence and ability to handle pressure
    • Excellent problem-solving, strong decision-making skills, communication and analytical skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent presentation and facilitation skills (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
    • Monitoring and evaluations skills
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including BCEA, LRA and EEA and understanding of Skills Development legislation and SETA requirements.

    Driver Code 8 - Drive Thru Yard Department

    Job Description

    • Purpose: The purpose of this job is to assure that goods are delivered accurately and punctually in good condition as expected by the customer.  This will include dealing with customers, staff from all branches, monitoring the loading and offloading of transfers and making sure that the delivery vehicle is in good condition by doing daily check-up of the vehicle and providing good customer service.  This will result in customer satisfaction and generate sales promoting the business and creating sustainable growth and profit margins.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide good customer service
    • Completing of daily trip sheets (opening/closing km, departure/arrival times)
    • Completing a daily pre-trip inspection of your vehicle to ensure basic roadworthy standards. (indicating on trip sheet)
    • Reporting any defect on your vehicle to your Supervisor (completing of vehicle repair report)
    • Ensure that the truck assistants are with the truck at all times.
    • Plan and ensure with the most efficient route to your customer
    • Ensure all out going stock have the relevant documentation before being loaded.
    • Ensure all transferred documents are recorded in your logbook.
    • Ensure the transfer logbook is signed by the branch who receives the stock.
    • Ensure all stock are delivered in excellent condition
    • Hand in weekly evaluation reports to your Supervisor.
    • Reporting any delay at branches to your Supervisor.
    • Report to your Supervisor at the end of the day
    • Participate in perpetual stock takes.
    • Perform any work-related tasks delegated by superior

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or Equivalent
    • Candidates with no Matric that have a valid license and have 3 years driving experience will be considered for the position
    • 1 year driving experience
    • Code 8 Drivers Licence (higher code would be advantage)
    • PDP (Public Driving Permit: Goods and Passengers)
    • Ability to handle pressure
    • Monitoring skills
    • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
    • Ability to read & communicate on high level

    • Assisting customers with excellent customer service and product knowledge
    • Bagging of stone/ sand
    • Participating in perpetual stocktakes

    • Performing any work related tasks as delegated by your superior
