Purpose: Drive business performance and compliance by designing and delivering effective training and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring accurate reporting on employment equity, SETA, and other statutory requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and deliver training programs
Conduct training needs analysis and develop strategies to address skills gaps
Develop and implement training plans, including budgeting and logistics
Coordinate external training offerings and skills development interventions
Manage and maintain accurate records of training conducted
Analyse training outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements
Administer Quality Management Systems (QMS) for skills development
Handle SETA communication, administration, and reporting
Implement mentorship programs and provide HR support
Conduct branch visits to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness
Participate in weekly huddle meetings and other departmental meetings as required
Provide HR support, including recruitment, employee onboarding and benefits administration
Compile and submit HR-related reports and statutory records.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric or equivalent with a BTECH Degree in Human Resource or related field
3 years minimum work experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years’ experience in WSP/ATR
Valid driver's licence
Strong sense of responsibility, diligence and ability to handle pressure
Excellent problem-solving, strong decision-making skills, communication and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent presentation and facilitation skills (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
Monitoring and evaluations skills
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Knowledge of relevant legislation, including BCEA, LRA and EEA and understanding of Skills Development legislation and SETA requirements.
Good customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
