Senior Manager: Human Resources (Permanent) at Breede Valley Municipality

Job Purpose:

• Strategic Human Resource Planning, Development, Mandatory and strategic reporting (labour legislation and IDP/SDBIP) and Records Management/Oversight HR administrative functions/Develop and implement, review and update the HR strategy, aligning with IDP and reporting/ensure compliance to legislation, Collective Agreement and Council policy on  Employment Equity, Occupational Health and Safety, Labour Relations, Skills Development and Basic Conditions of employment compliance and implementation/organizational development/individual performance management throughout organisation/internal and external stakeholder relations

Minimum Requirements:

• A relevant B Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (NQF level 7).
• However, preference will be given to candidates who holds post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management.
• 8 years or more relevant post-graduation experience covering range of human resources functions; with at least 5 years Human Resources Management Level experience.
• Computer Literacy: MS Office.
• Valid Code B driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape.
• Compliance with the National Treasury Regulations on the required Minimum Competency Level
• Unit Standards applicable to this position, or must complete the unit standards within an 18-month period from the date of appointment as provided for in GNR 1146 under GG 41996, dated 26 October 2018.
