HR Internship Position – Human Resources Administration at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of bachelor's degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or any equivalent qualification (attach transcript). 
• New entrants into the HR (in other words you must not have worked or held an HR internship before). 
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite) 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to pay attention to detail 
• Must be a South African citizen 

DUTIES

• Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including scheduling interviews and preparing interview packs 
• Maintain and update employee records both digitally and in hard copy 
• Assist in responding to employee queries and redirecting matters to relevant HR officers 
• Support the filing and archiving of HR documents 
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including organising meetings and preparing minutes 
• Contribute to the overall development of SMU and actively improve institutional culture 
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager
