HR Officer Operations at De Beers Group

Job Description:

• Effective systems management of all HR processes and/or functions.
• Monitor the HR processes regularly to ensure conformance to and understanding of standards and procedures by clients.
• Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Industrial Relations by following procedures and ensuring that stakeholders are well versed in the procedures.
• Ensure work is fairly allocated to any HR Assistant.
• Hold disciplinary and grievance inquiries as prescribed by the policy.
• Prepare relevant reports timeously.
• Manage and facilitate the recruitment process
• Support the HR Management team to achieve goals and objectives.
• This role is in the Human Resources department at a Band 7 level reporting to the HR Coordinator Operations

Qualifications:
You must have:

• NQF 5 Higher Certificate/Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management/Employee Relations or higher.
• NQF 6 Advanced Certificate/National Diploma or Post Grad Labour Law will be advantageous.​​​​​​

Experience required: 

• At least 3 - 5 years Generalist Human Resources experience, of which 2 years in the mining environment.

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Computer literate
• SAP system knowledge will be advantageous.
