The ideal candidate must be in possession of a National Diploma/ NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management/Development/Skills Development as recognised by SAQA coupled with at least 1-2 years of experience in an HRM&D environment, experience in Bursaries will be an added advantage and a valid Drivers Licence.
Essential Knowledge, Skills And Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have:- Sound knowledge and understanding of Policies, Legislation and Prescripts pertaining to the Human Resource Development field; Public Service Education and Training Strategies; Education and Training Structures; Financial Management; Practical demonstration of knowledge in the Human Resource Development field; Finance; Project Management; Planning; Decision Making; Problem Solving; Conflict Management; Staff Development; Diversity Management; Presentation Skills; Customer Orientation; Good communication skills (verbal & written) with other Government Institutions, Private Sector, NGOs and Departmental Officials; Good computer literacy in MS Office. Candidates must be able and willing to drive.
DUTIES :
The successful candidate will be required to coordinate bursaries and study assistance programmes with the following responsibilities: Administer State Aided Studies/Bursaries for the department; Provide for the administration of bursary matters; Develop, implement and maintain bursary/study assistance programme policies; Administer bursary/study assistance programme payments.
