Human Capital Business Partner at The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP)

SACAP is seeking a Human Capital Business Partner.

• The Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) will be responsible for implementing the HC strategy at a campus level. Ensuring alignment with the HC strategy and institutional goals.
• This role serves as both a generalist and a specialist, providing HC expertise across key areas, including but not limited to employee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, employee experience. 
• The HCBP acts as an advisor to campus leadership and ensures HR best practices are effectively applied across all campuses nationally. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicable bachelor’s degree as a minimum
• Minimum of 5 years + relevant demonstrative experience as a Human Resources specialist and generalist, with an additional 2 years in an HRBP or HR management role.
• SABPP membership
• Experience in higher education or the private tertiary sector is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and HR best practice.
• Proficiency in HR technology and data-driven insights. 

SKILLS:

• Strong portfolio leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions across campuses.
• Data-driven approach to HR insights and decision-making.
• Knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong experience in executing on the employee life cycle in alignment with the HR strategy.
• Solid proficiency in HR technology and reporting.
