    Human Resource Manager - Klerksdorp (Wilmed Park Private Hospital , Daleside Day Hospital, Sunningdale Private Hospital and Parkmed Neuro Clinic)

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the provision of support to line managers in the execution of human resources related activities and to consult on the people component of the unit’s business plan. The incumbent will further be required to participate as a credible business partner by developing human resources solutions that add value to the business units’ core strategic focus areas.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Support Hospital Manager and management teams in the effective implementation of HR policies, recruitment strategies, and staff retention initiatives.
    • Manage industrial relations, performance management processes, and organisational development to ensure a productive work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with Employment Equity (EE) plans and drive recruitment practices that promote diversity and inclusion.
    • Proactively advise and educate managers and employees on addressing industrial relations matters, including performance, conduct, and interpersonal issues, to prevent escalation and formal disciplinary action.
    • Drive the achievement of transformation goals as set out by the Transformation Committee.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with local learning institutions and recruitment agencies to expand and strengthen the talent pipeline.
    • Guide and motivate stakeholders to actively support and implement organisational change initiatives.
    • Foster a learning culture that promotes openness, knowledge sharing, inquiry, and trust, while creating opportunities for continuous development within the business unit.
    • Influence and support the implementation of transformation strategies, including Employment Equity objectives.
    • Coordinate and manage the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR), ensuring compliance with SETA requirements and alignment with organisational development goals.
    • Ensure all personnel administration queries and requests (standard and non-standard) are resolved efficiently within agreed SLAs and turnaround times.
    • Actively contribute to and participate in HR strategic projects and initiatives.

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • A three-year Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, with exposure to operating as a transformation or change agent.
    • At least 5 years’ experience at a management level.
    • Extensive experience within a unionised environment, with strong employee relations expertise.
    • Solid knowledge of key HR disciplines, including Remuneration, Talent Management, Transformation, Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development, Organisational Design and Re-engineering, Industrial Relations, and Performance Management.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness and ability to travel for meetings and workshops nationally.
    • Experience with SAP and Kronos time and attendance systems will be advantageous.
