Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that all news assets are properly tagged and distributed to the relevant custodians
• Ensure that each office has an inventory list displayed conspicuously behind office doors
• Completion of additions, movement and disposal form
• Communicate with officials from various levels/components/units
• Conduct asset verification 
• Update asset register 
• Identify assets for disposal
• Removal of assets identified for disposal from various locations to disposal store room
• Complying with the provisions of all relevant legislation.

Experience and Qualifications

• National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or Finance
• Minimum Experience 2 years exposure to Asset Management environment
• Physical handling of asset 
• Prolonged use of computer
• Interaction with officials at various levels
• Asset Management prescripts
• Supply chain management prescripts
• SAP 
• Financial Regulations 
• Computer Literacy (excel, word and outlook)
