Our client seeks a HR Manager with at least 4+ years experience as a HR Manager with at least 6-8 years HR Generalist experience. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and taking full accountability for the HR function. The role ensures HR operates in a structured, accurate, compliant, proactive, and business-focused manner, covering employee relations, labour law compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, employment equity, BBBEE support, benefits, payroll input oversight, HR reporting, employee engagement, retention, and HR advisory support to management.

Minimum Requirements
Relevant qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum 6–8 years’ HR generalist experience.
At least 4+ years’ experience in an HR Manager
Labour law / employee relations training
Employment Equity and BBBEE exposure
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with HR and payroll systems.
Strong experience in disciplinary processes, poor performance, incapacity, grievances, HR compliance, recruitment, onboarding, training administration, and employee records.
Experience preparing or reviewing disciplinary documentation, contracts, performance records, and CCMA-related packs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full HR function and oversee the HR Assistant.Provide practical, legally sound, and commercially sensible HR advice to management.Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, poor performance, incapacity, investigations, and CCMA preparation.Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, company policies, POPIA, and HR best practice.Own the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, and employee lifecycle process.Oversee accurate HR administration, employee files, contracts, SharePoint records, policies, training records, and audit-ready documentation.Manage performance management processes, KPIs, probation reviews, quarterly reviews, and performance improvement plans.Manage training records, skills development, WSP/ATR support, and BBBEE-related documentation.Support Employment Equity processes, reporting, committee requirements, and statutory submissions.Oversee benefits administration and ensure accurate payroll input documentation.Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, templates, and internal HR processes.Identify HR risks, gaps, and improvement areas and recommend practical solutions.Drive employee retention, engagement, culture, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide regular HR updates and reports to management.
