    Company Secretary

    • Our client, a property company based in Sandton, is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to ensure statutory compliance, sound corporate governance, and effective support to the Board and executive management.
    • Salary: Market-related, depending on experience and qualifications.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant qualification in Company Secretarial Practice, Corporate Governance, Law, Business Administration, or related field.CIS / CSSA qualification advantageous.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a company secretarial or governance role.Experience in the property, real estate, or asset management sectorStrong knowledge of the Companies Act, CIPC processes, King IV, statutory compliance, and corporate governance.Excellent minute-taking, drafting, administration, and organisational skills.High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, King IV, MOI, Board Charter, and relevant governance requirements.Prepare agendas, Board packs, resolutions, minutes, and action items for Board, committee, shareholder, and trustee meetings.Maintain statutory records, company registers, share registers, director records, and beneficial ownership records.Manage CIPC submissions, annual returns, director changes, statutory filings, and related administration.Advise the Board and management on governance and compliance matters.Liaise with directors, shareholders, auditors, legal advisors, regulators, and other stakeholders.Support governance and compliance matters relating to property entities, SPVs, trusts, body corporates, and property holding companies where applicable.Assist with legal documents, resolutions, policies, contracts, and recordkeeping.

    • Our client seeks a HR Assistant with 2 years experience. The HR Assistant will provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the HR Manager and wider HR function. The role includes HR administration, employee documentation, SharePoint filing, onboarding, recruitment support, training records, payroll support, and general HR coordination.

    Human Resources Manager

    • Our client seeks a HR Manager with at least 4+ years experience as a HR Manager with at least 6-8 years HR Generalist experience. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and taking full accountability for the HR function.     • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
    • Experience with HR and payroll systems.

    • Experience preparing or reviewing disciplinary documentation, contracts, performance records, and CCMA-related packs.

    • Manage the full HR function and oversee the HR Assistant.Provide practical, legally sound, and commercially sensible HR advice to management.Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, poor performance, incapacity, investigations, and CCMA preparation.Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, company policies, POPIA, and HR best practice.Own the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, and employee lifecycle process.Oversee accurate HR administration, employee files, contracts, SharePoint records, policies, training records, and audit-ready documentation.Manage performance management processes, KPIs, probation reviews, quarterly reviews, and performance improvement plans.Manage training records, skills development, WSP/ATR support, and BBBEE-related documentation.Support Employment Equity processes, reporting, committee requirements, and statutory submissions.Oversee benefits administration and ensure accurate payroll input documentation.Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, templates, and internal HR processes.Identify HR risks, gaps, and improvement areas and recommend practical solutions.Drive employee retention, engagement, culture, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide regular HR updates and reports to management.
