Hydropower Engineer at Zutari

Role responsibilities

• Lead Hydropower design and studies ranging from prefeasibility studies to detailed designs.
• Review hydropower and dam designs and costing
• Review hydropower energy yield calculations
• Business Development for hydropower and dams and for the bigger Zutari business
• Lead digital innovations within the hydropower and dams space to make the delivery of projects more efficient
• Project management of dams and hydropower projects
• Integrate and collaborate with other business units within Zutari to enable the implementation of hydropower and dams projects.
• Travel to site and clients throughout Sub-Saharan Africa as required

Minimum requirements

• MSc (Preferred) /BSc or MEng (Preferred) /BEng in Civil or Mechanical Engineering .
• Minimum of 5  years experience in Hydropower Engineering
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) with ECSA (Required)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
