Import Export Administrator (Junior) at Adendorff Machinery Mart

Responsibilities:

• Verify purchase orders to ensure compliance with shipping and payment standards
• Review import/export documentation before submitting to clearing agents
• Capture procurement data and costing accurately on relevant data sheets
• Assist in preparing and submitting clearing instruction forms to agents
• Support the export process for all Adendorff branches across South Africa
• Upload and manage documentation in procurement files and folders
• Follow up with shipping agents regarding all shipments on water
• Ensure errors are rectified with shipping agents and in-house processors
• Liaise with the warehouse regarding queries, deliveries, and logistical matters
• Assist with NRCS, Customs, and SAPS inspections when required
• Maintain and file all relevant documentation for record-keeping and audits

Qualifications:

• Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance or International Trade
• Min 5 years’ experience in an administrative or import/export role
• Knowledge of international shipping processes and documentation
• Familiarity with NRCS, Customs, and SAPS regulatory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Technical competencies with Syspro or similar
• Strong Excel experience with procurement systems advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
