Inbound Sales Representative at Salt South Africa

Job Purpose

• Handle inbound sales enquiries and customer orders
• Build strong relationships with existing customers
• Support sales growth through excellent customer service and product knowledge

Key Responsibilities

Customer Sales and Support

• Receive and process incoming customer enquiries
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide product information and pricing guidance
• Assist customers with queries and complaints
• Maintain positive and professional customer relationships

Order Processing and Administration

• Capture orders on CRM or internal systems
• Check stock availability and pricing
• Prepare quotations and follow up on orders
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Ensure all administration is completed on time

Customer Relationship Management

• Support repeat business through quality service
• Identify upselling and cross selling opportunities
• Communicate promotions and product updates to customers
• Work closely with internal teams to meet customer needs

Reporting

• Complete daily and weekly sales activity reports
• Update customer information accurately
• Escalate issues when required

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Two to four years experience in inbound or internal sales
• Experience in FMCG, wholesale, or food distribution preferred
• Experience with order taking and customer service

• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using CRM and computer systems
