Indirect Procurement Officer at Syndicate Personnel Specialists

Role Summary

Are you a proactive and hands-on Procurement professional with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment?

A client, a leading global healthcare company has a challenging opportunity for a Supply Chain expert to be responsible for the procurement process and control of all their Indirect purchases in the company.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and analyzing all vendor and supplier, Product, Services and Price options.
• Negotiating the best deal for pricing and supply contracts so as to create saving initiatives.
• Ensuring that all products and services are procured through BBBEE certified suppliers
• Performing annual supplier assessments and managing the supplier contract database and SLA register

A relevant degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent coupled with at least 4 to 6 years Procurement experience within a Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is required. You must have a strong understanding of procurement systems such as SAP or Syspro, as well as advanced Excel skills.
