Industrial Engineer(Manufacturing) at Watershed Consulting

Overview: To setting up, documenting production processes and workflow in a highly technical and precision manufacturing facility

Duties:

• Assist the Production Manager in setting up and documenting production processes and workflows
• Work alongside the production engineering team to improve current workflows
• Documenting and optimizing the most appropriate manufacturing tasks
• Daily problem solving and on-the-floor monitoring of the processes
• Prepare reports weekly and monthly and present them to the Production Manager
• Report to senior management

Requirements:

• Industrial Engineering degree
• 3+ years’ experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of quality and audit systems
• Aviation knowledge and experience advantageous
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Self-driven and proactive in the workplace
• Ability to work with production staff and senior management
• Preference to engineers residing in the southern areas of Johannesburg and Gauteng
