    Industrial Quality Manager

    Accountability & Authorities

    • Support PME to ensure non-compliance risks analysis using Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) .
    • Lead implementation of Quality Control Plans using REX (Return of Experience) of previous project execution & associated relevant IQ staffing.
    • Lead control & process digitalization.
    • Improve Quality level per main processes:
    • Perform analysis & manage actions to improve the outgoing product quality.
    • Escalate the main anomalies detected on the production lines & ensure their effective treatment (Problem Solving tools).
    • Support of manufacturing for quality topics:
    • Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
    • Support manufacturing teams to develop self-inspection.
    • Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement system.
    • Manage & develop the industrial quality team, using Q-School process & yearly training / qualification plan.
    • Manage APSYS (Alstom Production System) improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope.
    • Performance measurements
    • Defects per Unit reduction (20 % per year).
    • External demerit objective.
    • CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
    • Level 2 APSYS score for Industrial scope.

    Minimum Educational/ Desired Knowledge / Experience Technical and behavioural Skills / Competencies:

    Educational

    • B-Tech/ degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent
    • B-Tech Quality Management System
    • Project Quality Management qualification

    Technical Knowledge / Experience:

    • 10 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial quality
    • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
    • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset
    • Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
    • Extensive Management experience.
    • Project management or equivalent.

    Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies:

    • International mindset & fluent in English.
    • Multi-cultural Management Teamwork and Customer oriented
    • Data driven and courageous, rigor - Ability to manage teams in cross and multicultural relationships -
    • Leadership of competence and influence :ability to Customer oriented - persuade and convince – Proactive
    • Technical mastering of railway products.
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization and resistance to pressure (production, delivery)
