    Industrial Technique- Digital Marketing and Communications Professional - Gauteng

    Your role

    • As part of the Digital Marketing & Communications team, you will be responsible for implementing and executing both internal & external marketing and communication activities for Industrial Technique, South Africa. You will be reporting directly to the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager and working closely with three Divisional Managers.
    • You will form part of the team that will be responsible to grow  increase awareness and increase lead generation through digital communication channels and marketing automation. This will apply to three brands and four business lines. Our communications strategy includes both online and offline communication channels. It is part of your role to continuously grow the consistency, quality, efficiency and measure the attractiveness of the communication and marketing content inline with the divisional strategies for each business line.

    Key Responsibilities

    External Communications: 

    • Responsible for executing and/or building the annual communication plan and marketing strategy together with your manager and the different Business Line Managers. Ensuring it is executed and in line with business priorities.
    • Execute the road map for future digital initiatives, including more diverse marketing automation.
    • Work closely with the relevant managers to understand and maintain focus on managing and executing campaigns.
    • Drive and maintain Atlas Copco Industrial Technique content calendar across websites, social media, and all digital channels. 
    • Responsible for community management
    • Manage and coordinate agencies for paid media, SEO content and structure, and content creation.
    • Create communication & product launch campaigns together with your manager and the relevant Business Line Managers.
    • Coordinate the creation of quality marketing content, such as photos, videos, PowerPoint, roll ups, giveaways, web and social media content.  Utilize external resources to ensure we have compelling up to date material.
    • Write and publish quality content which supports sales targets and the overall strategy.
    • Manage all aspects of our local web site and targeted campaign pages. Perform audits to prevent errors, such as 404’s and other issues that compromise the performance and the user experience.
    • Responsible for marketing automation design, and implementation including email template design using Marketo.
    • Developing monthly reports and dashboards to demonstrate ROI and value creation through digital marketing initiatives. 
    • Become the point of contact between local communication team and sales teams of the customer center. 
    • You will the local Brand specialist and have to ensure that the local Organisation, sales teams and distributors follows all corporate brand guidelines and all related social and channel policies from the Atlas Copco Group and related ITBA brands. 

    Internal Communications: 

    • Salesforce database management, including development, training, segmentation, lead assignment and report generation on conversion rates amongst others.
    • Support the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager with internal staff initiatives such as team building, conferencing and events, as well as various marketing campaigns to support a healthy working environment and team culture. 
    • Responsible for internal branding and ensuring alignment with global corporate identity guidelines.
    • Conceptual and operational monitoring of exhibitions or customer days.

    To succeed, you will need

    • You need to be working within a digital communication role for at least 3 years. You have a passion for business-to-business communication and user experience. You also have experience working with value propositions towards customers. 

    The successful applicant will have: 

    • Hands-on experience with inbound marketing systems, and familiarity with marketing automation practices.
    • Excellent project management skills and working on multiple parallel projects. 
    • Expert knowledge in the latest in digital and social media channels and how to best leverage for marketing programs, as part of an overall social business strategy.
    • Experience working in a collaborative B2B environment with Marketing, Product dept. and PR/Media
    • Solid expertise with google analytics, MS office, Website development/metrics and professional in PowerPoint.
    • It is necessary that you have worked with both online and offline communications channels and it is a merit if you have experience from an international environment. The successful applicant will have the desire and ability to develop communication plans and take communication to the next level. 
    • Further, we expect you to be eager to learn new technologies when needed. 

    Educational requirements

    • University Degree in Digital Marketing or Communications preferred. 
    • Fluency in English.
    • Good organizational, planning and following-up skills.
    • Minimum experience of 3 years in Digital Marketing or Communications Role.
    • Knowledge in Industrial Markets are an advantage.
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
    • Experience working with CRM tools.
    • Valid driver’s license.
