Vulnerability Management Engineer

(junior / mid-level)

You have a love for cybersecurity and need to ensure that not only we as a company but also all our clients are not at risk at any given time.

Required experience/skills:

•  Microsoft Windows Patching
•  Implementation of Security and Cumulative Updates
•  Remediation of Security Vulnerabilities
•  WSUS Experience
•  SCCM Experience an Advantage

Technology (used/have knowledge of):

•  WSUS – required experience
•  Tenable (preferred)
•  Qualys (preferred)
•  Rapid7
•  any other security product experience is welcomed

Role/Job Description:

•  Installation of VM devices such as scanners and console devices required for scanning
•  Upgrading & Maintenance of VM deployments at various clients
•  Configuration of scans, this includes compliance, vulnerability, WAS, PCI etc
•  Internal & External assessments of client networks
•  Liaising with other teams such as SOC/MDR and broader Managed Services Team when new threats are detected
•  Health checks
•  Reporting
•  Engaging with customers
•  Client notification for new CVE’s that are currently being exploited
•  Product testing
•  Engaging with resellers

Future growth job duties could entail:

•  Architectural & Solution design documentation for deployments
•  Baseline/compliance audits (PCI, DSS, SCAP, CIS)
•  CSM, ensuring the deliverables are met
•  Presenting weekly and monthly Managed Services reports to customers
•  CVE research
•  Creating SOP's for when systems or processes are implemented
•  VM innovation
•  Client demo’s
•  Lead a small team of individuals focused on Vulnerability Management and the lifecycle
