    About the Role

    • As an Information Technology (IT) Graduate, you will embark on an exciting career in IT support and development. This entry-level position focuses on providing technical assistance, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and contributing to project teams. You'll have the chance to apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment while learning from experienced professionals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first-level technical support to internal and external clients via phone, email, and chat.
    • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues efficiently and accurately.
    • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstation setups.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects, contributing your insights and learning from others.
    • Document technical processes and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference.
    • Participate in training sessions to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
    • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in technology to improve service delivery.
    • Support the testing and implementation of new software and systems as needed.

    Requirements

    • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Demonstrable experience in technical support or IT projects through internships, academic projects, or relevant work experience.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts, operating systems, and general IT support practices.
    • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
    • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic understanding of programming languages or software development principles is an advantage.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with IT service management tools or ticketing systems.
    • Exposure to cloud computing platforms and services.
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
    • Projects or coursework that demonstrate coding or software development experience.
