Information Technology Project Manager (6 Month Contract) at Adams & Adams

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Plan, execute and monitor IT projects across software development, systems integration, and infrastructure rollouts
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and stakeholder matrices
• Coordinate internal technical teams (Service Desk, Infrastructure, Enterprise Apps, Development) and external vendors
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations

Software Development Project Management

• Work with business analysts, developers and QA testers to deliver quality business requirement documentation for application enhancements and new solutions
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement clarification and testing cycles
• Ensure alignment with SDLC and agile delivery practices

Infrastructure & Technology Rollouts

• Manage deployment projects such as network upgrades, server migrations, endpoint rollouts, cloud adoption, and security implementations
• Coordinate logistics for hardware installation, technical testing, and user readiness activities
• Ensure minimal disruption to legal operations and billable time

Change Management

• Develop and execute change management plans including training, communications, stakeholder engagement, and adoption tracking
• Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations for new technologies
• Support the business through behavioral and process change, ensuring smooth transitions

Governance & Reporting

• Maintain documentation in line with IT governance, audit, and compliance requirements (including ISO 27001 policies where applicable)
• Produce weekly and monthly status reports for IT management and steering committees
• Track KPIs, risks, issues, and dependencies across all assigned projects

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Project Co-ordinator in an IT environment
• Experience managing software development and infrastructure-related projects
• Experience working in professional services (legal, financial, consulting, etc.) is advantageous
• Project Management certification beneficial (Prince2, CAPM, Agile/Scrum)
• Change management exposure beneficial (Prosci, similar frameworks)
