    Information Technology Support Specialist

    The Job

    A client, one of South Africa's largest banks, is on the search for an IT Support Specialist for a one year contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day monitoring and operation of the organisation's systems under the control of the command centre; including incident handling, availability and performance monitoring, and conduct problem resolution and administration within the IT Command Centre according to company procedures and standards.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum NQF 5
    • ITIL service management is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT command centre
    • Solid first line support experience with hardware, software, servers, networks, systems, and applications.
    • 24/7 shift work is required
    • One year contract
    • Based in Johannesburg
    • Up to R200 per hour/ R35 000 PM
