Controlling the movement of rotable / repairable equipment from the plant to vendors, back into stock. and to the plant including collecting and / or delivering repairs rotable to and from Vendors
Continually refine and promote a systematic drive towards improvement in equipment availability, reliability, safety and product quality
Adhere at all times to the P2P and repair/rotable policies and procedures.
Quality inspections on equipment to and on return from vendor.
Physically numbering, inspecting, signing off and updating equipment master details for all rotable and repairable equipment
Recording warranties, uploading of certificates and equipment paperwork
Taking rotable items into the REPA Store and taking repairable equipment into the Store inspecting and notifying end users
Vendor evaluations existing and new Vendors
About you:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification and N2 with relevant trade theory or Technical Matric
Trade Certificate (Qualified Artisan)
3 years' post trade experience in a Ferrochrome maintenance environment
Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation knowledge and experience on equipment used in a Smelter environment including but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Furnace components and Sintering Plant components.
Computer literate with good knowledge of the SAP MM & PM module and experience on the Coupa System
Good communication, interpersonal and administrative skills
Have a valid driver's licence code EB (Forklift licence will be an advantage)
