    Business Partner HR Jnr

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient verification, preparation and submission of all payroll documentation.
    • Conduct effective recruitment and selection.
    • Good knowledge on time and attendance
    • Handle death claims, disability claims, injury on duty claims, retirements, funeral claims and withdrawals and process the relevant documents accordingly.
    • Ensure sufficient employee relations with own team members, line managers and employees.
    • Supervise team and manage their performance.
    • Ensure all HR activities comply with the relevant legislation.

    Coordinator Environmental

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Developing and maintaining a good working knowledge of Environmental legislation
    • Monitoring and coordinating site’s compliance to all Environmental legislation and authorizations
    • Remaining abreast of developments in Environmental thinking and practice
    • Coordinating the implementation and ongoing development of Environmental Management Plans.
    • Monitor and evaluate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
    • Liaison with relevant government departments, water users, service providers and other external stakeholders
    • Ensure and enforce adherence to all Environmental standards of the Glencore Alloys division
    • Reporting of site data on internal and governmental Environmental Information Systems (GSD, ISOMETRIX, SAAELIP: NAEIS, SAWIS, etc)

    Inspector (Rotable)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Controlling the movement of rotable / repairable equipment from the plant to vendors, back into stock. and to the plant including collecting and / or delivering repairs rotable to and from Vendors
    • Continually refine and promote a systematic drive towards improvement in equipment availability, reliability, safety and product quality
    • Adhere at all times to the P2P and repair/rotable policies and procedures.
    • Quality inspections on equipment to and on return from vendor.
    • Physically numbering, inspecting, signing off and updating equipment master details for all rotable and repairable equipment
    • Recording warranties, uploading of certificates and equipment paperwork
    • Taking rotable items into the REPA Store and taking repairable equipment into the Store inspecting and notifying end users
    • Vendor evaluations existing and new Vendors

    About you:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification and N2 with relevant trade theory or Technical Matric
    • Trade Certificate (Qualified Artisan)
    • 3 years' post trade experience in a Ferrochrome maintenance environment
    • Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation knowledge and experience on equipment used in a Smelter environment including but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Furnace components and Sintering Plant components.
    • Computer literate with good knowledge of the SAP MM & PM module and experience on the Coupa System
    • Good communication, interpersonal and administrative skills
    • Have a valid driver's licence code EB (Forklift licence will be an advantage)

    Attendant (Final Product)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Conducting of inspections at the start of the shift and on road and rail trucks before loading commences
    • Conduct all weighbridge tests as per procedures and works instructions
    • Ensure accurate weighing, record keeping and reconciliation on all materials
    • Ensure effective reporting and communication on any deviations and solving thereof
    • Prepare and seal road trucks
    • Ensure material to be dispatched are per customer specifications (chemical and sizing)
    • Supervising safe operation by internal contractors (front end loader and dumper drivers)
    • Ensure sampling on material is done as per ISO standards
    • Ensure safe loco operation and shunting of rail trucks
    • Ensure accurate identification of material loaded on rail trucks (TFR truck cards)
    • Ensure compliance to all relevant procedures, works instructions and risk assessments

    About you:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • One year experience in a Ferrochrome Final Product environment with sound knowledge of FeCr identification, weighing and sampling.
    • Computer literate with knowledge of the Management Execution System (MES) and SCADA
    • Good communication skills
    • Good knowledge of the HSEC system

    Clerk (Laboratory)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Accurate data capturing into LIMS.
    • Follow up and escalate queries with the relevant departments with regards to non-conforming material to meet customer specifications.
    • Generate daily and monthly reports for quality control and accounting purposes.
    • Adherence to all Glencore specific policies, procedures and works instructions relating to the handling of data to mitigate the risk associated with non-compliance.
    • Maintain an effective filing and record keeping system
    • Perform general ad hoc administrative duties as required.

    About you:

    • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
    • ND Analytical Chemistry will be advantageous
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Ferro-chrome Smelter laboratory environment.
    • Good knowledge of SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017
    • Computer literate including MS Office, SAP, LIMS and MES
    • Good knowledge of HSEC systems

    Officer (Ventilation)

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Chamber of mines practical and intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control (MEC)
    • At least two (2) years’ experience within the Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene environment

    Artisan (Electrician)

    • Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator and will be responsible for all functions relating to the position Artisan (Electrician)
    • The incumbent has the responsibilities to examine and maintenance the Plant, Conveyor belt, Pumps and Electrical components at plant & underground environment
    • Duties include but are not limited to planned maintenance, breakdowns and project work
    • Compliance with the company’s HSEC system
    • Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company
    • Standards / policies with specific reference to the primary functions of an Artisan Electrician
