The opportunity
To assist the learning leader with the effective development of learning programs across the Africa region with a focus on e-learning instructional design and management of programs on the LMS system. Execution of deployment strategies for courses in the learning curriculum, including learning measurement reporting and continuous deployment process improvement. Work closely with the Learning Leader ensuring CPD hours are met, and core learning is delivered.
Your key responsibilities
Responsible for the storyboard of new e-learning courses to be developed.
Responsible for the creation of new e-learnings in the authoring tool.
Responsible for updates and maintenance to existing e-learning courses published.
Manage the publication of courses to the LMS system including detailed review of functionality inline with the LMS system requirements.
Liaise with the LMS owners on any functionality and design requirements for the publication of courses to the LMS.
Manage the publication process from design to final publication.
Responsible for the collation of all learning material developed with appropriate approvals for quality monitoring.
Responsible for the co-ordination of all learning admin and transactional processes:
Work with Deployment Admin team to ensure Learning Program are published, and CE assignment requests are submitted.
Request monthly learning reports from the Deployment Admin team to monitor training consumption.
Request program evaluation information post all programs from Deployment Admin team and collate it accordingly for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
Produce key insights from Learning Program feedback and report these to the Learning Leader.
Provide administrative support to the Learning Leader as and when required.
Adhere to all internal SLA’s as agreed upon with the Deployment Admin team regarding submission of requests and all relevant information required in the requisite format in order to process.
Ensure a smooth Learning and Development operations function:
Scheduling of learning and development events, programs and associated briefings, with learning admins.
Planning of all program logistics, monitoring pre-work completion, participant communications, distribution of program materials etc.
Proactively obtain reports from Learning Admins, monitor pre-work completion and escalate to Learning Leaders, when required.
Responsible for set up of training simulations, team allocations and register creations.
Liaises with internal facilitators/role players and external facilitators (where required).
Liaises with relevant parties in other offices and technical learning teams to deploy training.
Respond to queries that are received from business in relation to training consumption.
Responsible for management and distribution of learning content material across the African region.
Co-ordination of group travel and accommodation bookings.
Responsible for the monitoring of the end-to-end accreditation process and follow up with delegates on all outstanding mandatory e-learning.
Responsible for continuously monitoring learning consumption per learner and preparation of monthly escalation report for Learning Leaders where individuals are non-compliant
Responsible for the execution of all ad hoc learning initiatives and all learning pertaining to the onboarding process for new joiners.
Manages all study requests within the service line, in line with policy and budget.
Responsible for the maintenance of the learning calender across the region and updating the central Learning SharePoint site and the Africa Assurance Learning and Development SharePoint Site.
Responsible for finalization of all branding, artwork and sourcing of gifts and prizes related to learning programs.
Source team building service providers upon request
Extract WIP reports, review data and escalate inconsistencies to Learning Leader.
Responsible for the co-ordination of all Service line BBBEE requirements
Management of preparation, collation and maintenance of documents required for BBBEE & Skills Development legislative reporting.
Ensures all training data within the Service line is maintained accordingly and is easily accessible for interim and year-end audit processes.
Acts as a point of contact for the service line during all interim and year-end audit processes.
To qualify for the role, you must have:

Learning functional expertise and knowledge of learning trends.

Prior experience in event management.
A knowledge of adult learning principles.
Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Relevant administration and customer/client service experience.
Good organization and co-ordination skills
Ability to demonstrate strong project management and time management skills.
Ability to execute and manage programs within prescribed budgets.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Maintains a team focus and demonstrates effective teaming behaviours.
Reviews the work of juniors and mentors their skills development.
May serve as counselor or manager for other junior resources.
May require occasional travel, both domestic and international
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years’ experience in HR, preferably in Learning and Development within the professional services industry
Demonstrated experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline 360 and Review 360) authoring tool
Experience with publishing of courses to and maintaining a LMS (Learning Management System) (SAP- SuccessFactors preferred).
Experience in Camtasia (preferable) and video editing skills
Engagement with customers across multiple countries and industries in a broader region
responsibility.
