Insurance Specialist - Cape Town at Intelligent Debt Management

To assist a team of specialists that work very closely within IDM Protect. IDM Protect is part of the IDM group that assists clients with their Insurance and Financial Services (including Rewards). This individual will support IDM Protect to improve processes, systems and products so that IDM Protect can ensure that clients are with them “forever”.

The successful candidate will be part of the Insurance Specialist Team.

The candidate must be highly efficient, energetic, motivated and ambitious as well as being prepared to make a commitment to the business in the medium to long term. The candidate will be trained in tactical management, performing and preparing presentations, writing reports, strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical thinking.

IDM Protect Support Team

The position will involve:

• Being part of a team responsible for driving efficiencies in systems, process and products
• Writing reports

Work with IT, Projects and Development departments to create

• Efficiencies
• New Products
• Processes
• Reports
• Find ways to effectively collaborate with teams in DebtBusters, Insurance client service, Claims teams, Legal Personal lines policy maintenance and claims, retention and any new financial service operations teams. As well as any other IDM Support teams e.g. IT, Brand, projects etc
• Work with Business to spec out future development ideas, and to work closely with Project team to allocate cost and timeline against development, and to translate Business requirements, while supporting execution in the Project / IT / Digital area.
• Work with Business to define and articulate future enhancements to existing tools or creation of new tools.
• Work with Project team to translate Business requirements, while agreeing on timelines and costs involved, while supporting execution in the Project / IT / Digital area.
• Work with Support teams when issues need to be escalated and oversee until resolved.
• Work with IDM Protect and its Partners to streamline leads to client funnels and processes.
• Work with IDM Protect and its Partners to discover new ways of generating leads.
• Be responsible for a subset of testing, training and reporting analysis
