    Interbank Administrator

    Purpose Statement

    • Responsible for the day-to-day examining and administering of the non-card payment systems to ensure overall stability and effectiveness. Incumbent is also responsible for payment related administration and reporting on behalf of Interbank Office.

    Experience

    Min:

    • 2 years in payment systems environment

    Ideal

    • Capitec payment systems specific experience

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Certification in Foundational Payments
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification

    Knowledge

    • Payment streams for e.g. EFT, Saswitch, Debit card, SAMEX
    • Clearing rules applicable to the various non-card payment streams
    • Knowledge of the payment system governance and principles
    • Good working knowledge of working with database systems
    • Good working knowledge of the Interchange system as a monitoring tool
    • Good working knowledge of Payments Warehouse as a monitoring and processing  tool

    Ideal:

    • Working knowledge of the Bancs system
