JOB SUMMARY

• Parliament of South Africa is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled and detailed-driven candidate to serve as an Intergovernmental & Stakeholder Relations Specialist to the Secretary to Parliament.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic intergovernmental relations, stakeholder liaison, research, intelligence and executive support to the Secretary to Parliament by coordinating institutional relationships, strategic engagements and partnerships, and enabling informed decision-making through stakeholder intelligence, analysis and monitoring of commitments arising from intergovernmental, inter-sectoral and international forums.

Key Peformance Area:

• Intergovernmental Relations and Stakeholder Liaison Support
• Internal and External, Local and International Strategic Engagement Coordination, Dedicated Liaison and Executive Support
• Content, Research and Information Support in relation to Intergovernmental, Inter-sectoral, International, and any Internal and External Forums and Engagements
• Monitoring and Reporting on Decisions, Commitments, Resolutions and Matters arising from Intergovernmental and International Forums that have Implications for Parliament
• Relationship and Stakeholder Intelligence
• Executive Correspondence and Engagement Documentation

To Qualify, You Must Have:

• Honours Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Political Studies / Public Management / Public Relations / LLB or related qualifications at (NQF Level 8)
• An MBA or related Master's Degree in Public Administration / Public Management / LLM will be advantageous.
• 5 years' relevant Intergovernmental and Stakeholder Relations Management experience, including strategic research, analysis, and intelligence experience.
