ABOUT THE ROLE

• The software development team is the backbone of Revix’s tech-first business. We’re looking to bring onboard a world-class senior full-stack software engineer that will assist in building new platform features and investment products as we enter international markets.
• If you’re a smart, hardworking and highly motivated full stack developer with a preference and passion for back-end development to join us in building our cutting-edge investment platform. The ideal candidate would have a passion for investing, back-end software development and building scalable and smart solutions to intrigue our customers and make their lives easier.

Later this year our crypto products will be joined by listed thematic ETFs which offer retail investors exposure to several emerging industries including AI, biotech, cybersecurity and eSports as well as mainstream indices (S&P500, NASDAQ100, etc.) and previously inaccessible alternative asset classes (including tokenised real estate, private debt, fine art, classic cars, etc). We’ll also soon launch several automated investment tools and a loyalty-based rewards program.

Negotiable depending on the experience of the candidate.

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate should at minimum have experience in the form of:

 

General

• 3 years of manual testing experience preferably on a customer facing portal
• Projects / professional experience with web development and QA testing
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• The ability to be proactive and collaborative with the testing team and developers
• Understanding and willingness to learn markdown, css and HTML
• Prior technical experience
• Experience testing Microservices is advantageous
• Experience creating automated test cases is advantageous

 

Minimum Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of how to use browser console to read and log errors
• Interest or experience in cryptocurrencies, investing and finance
• Automated testing experience

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, run, and document testing procedures and results
• Developing a high understanding of any software under test
• Planning test approaches & designing test cases
• Learn from more senior resources how to create test automations based on business requirements
• Utilising JIRA to log and track your tests and requirements status
• Collaborate with product, development and design teams
• Communicate your findings from tests with the product and development counterparts to ensure code is ready for production

 

NICE TO HAVES

• Have a decent amount of financial/investment knowledge and associated database/process design
• Show interest in fintech, cryptocurrencies, blockchain and broader financial industries
• The ability to think and act strategically while also being hands-on
• Able to embrace the start-up nature of Revix, so must be open to work abnormal hours at certain times if require
