    Intern - Forensic Cyber / Digital Analytics X2 (2 years) (SIU23/Intern/009)

    Main purpose: 

    • To equip successful candidates to gain practical skills, knowledge and work experience within the SIU'S National Investigations Division.

    Minimum qualification and experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Cyber Forensics / Computer Science or Information Technology specialising in Cyber Forensics or Digital Analytics (NQF 5/6/7). No experience required.

    Competencies: 

    • Interpersonal skills, well organized individual, attention to detail, committed, dedicated, hardworking with good time management skills. Must have ethics and integrity.

    Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to):

    Computer literacy:

    • MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). (advanced excel will be an advantage).

    Method of Application

    PLEASE NOTE:

    • The SIU internship programme is targeted for the youth ages 18 – 35.
    • Candidates must not be currently participating on another internship programme or have previously participated on an internship programme.
    • Candidates must be unemployed.
    • Candidates must be South African citizens.

    • The appointment of candidates will be at the Unit’s sole discretion and the Unit reserves the right not to make an appointment.
    • All shortlisted applicants will be required to complete the SIU application form.
    • The SIU is an Anti-Corruption Investigating Unit and requires applicants to make a full and frank disclosure in their application form.
