Matric certificate plus National Diploma in Internal Audit or equivalent relevant qualification at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 6 as recognised by South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Internal Audit environment.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
To participate in the development of strategic internal audit plan.
To assist the accounting officer in maintaining efficient and effective controls and achieving the outcomes of the Regulator by evaluating the controls, to determine their effectiveness and efficiency through internal audits.
Review, collect information and compile reports to the accounting officer and audit committee.
Collect analyse and interpret data for purposes of the development of the engagement work program.
Develop findings and recommendations for the enhancement of controls/processes.
Compile and review audit reports for each engagement.
Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and management audit action plans.
