    Internal Sales

    Job Description
    Customer Service:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
    • Provide product information and pricing to customers.
    • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

    Order Processing:

    • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure orders are entered into the system and communicated to relevant departments.
    • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
    • Follow up on order status and keep customers informed of any delays or issues.

    3Sales Support:

    • Assist the sales team with generating quotes and proposals.
    • Monitor and track sales performance and provide feedback to the sales manager.
    • Assist with sales campaigns and promotional activities.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Provide customers with technical information and advice on product selection.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
    • Prepare and distribute sales documentation and correspondence.
    • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
    • Handle administrative tasks related to the sales department.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with external sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service.
    • Coordinate with other departments, including finance and warehouse, to resolve customer issues.
    • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to team objectives.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Perform any reasonable task required by management that may not be explicitly outlined above.
    • Be flexible and adaptable to changes in duties and responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications

    • National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in internal sales within the electrical industry.
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport.
    • Experience using ERP Systems are advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
    • Knowledge of the electrical cable industry (desirable).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Professional and courteous demeanor.
