Internship: Claims x 30 at Road Accident Fund

Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain workbased experience. Applications are invited for the Claims Internship for unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 23.The Internship program will run for a period of Eighteen (18) months.

We encourage the applicants to apply in their respective regions where they are based. 

Work based exposure may include any of the following:

• Onboarding – Customer Experience Centre, Registration of new claims and Verification and Validation of new claims.
• Adjudication – Quantify benefits and make appropriate offers. Recommend a litigation strategy and actions to bring matter to finality.  
• Legal Administration – Defending Summons and managing Notice of Set Downs.  
• Offer Management  – Legal cost, payments and file closure
• Merits – Assess nature of accident, investigate RAF liability and check capacity of claimant.
• General office administration, filing and data capturing related to the claims administration process.

Qualifications and other Requirements

• Certified Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate
• Certified copy of Bachelor’s Degree in Law/NQF7
• Certified copy of your ID
• Certified copy Academic transcript
• Your CV and motivational letter
