Internship: Clinical Technology – KZN -Durban at Medtronic

A Day in the Life

• Responsible for driving and generating sales within the identified territory and accounts.
• Provides clinical and technical support.
• Provides case support, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
• May provide follow-up support to the regional sales teams and external stakeholders by providing technical support and information on specific applications.
• Provides the clinical stakeholder with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.
• May deliver technical or scientific presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.
• Delivers on-site education and consulting and supports establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Coordination with clinical stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of Medtronic technology.

Must Haves

• Recently graduated or about to graduate with Clinical Technology (cardiac will be a plus) Qualification, degree in Nursing or Radiography
• Need to be located and reside in the Durban area
• Able to Travel to support clinical stakeholders in the Kwazulu Natal region
• Technically strong – understand the relevant Medtronic  Technologies (not limited to cardiac pacing, coronary, neuromodulation, orthopedic)
• Proficient in English 

Nice to Have 

•  Driving license
•  Good communication skills and willingness to learn on-the-job
