    Inventory Controller

    Role Outline

    • To maintain stock integrity within the warehouse and reconcile all stock differences so as to maintain loss to the Company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure a high level of communication is maintained with both internal and external customers
    • Be actively involved in and support change initiatives

    • Ensure that product safety, quality and integrity is not compromised
    • To rely on systems and physical view of the product to ensure that stock /pallets within the warehouse is data driven .
    • To ensure that the inventory controller follow all the procedures of minimising at stock lose and locating stock in the warehouse
    • When conducting duties, follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices
    • Perform administration tasks according to standard operating procedures
    • Be accountable for each and every movement of the products pallets to minimize loose or damage of the products
    • Utilize warehouse management systems effectively to support the above tasks
    • Investigate and rectify any issues created by replenishment synchronization
    • Perform regular audits of key processes including Receiving, Put Away, Pick & Despatch according to agreed schedules and report
    • Ensure all equipment used during the course of daily duties is handled correctly and to report any defects to the Section Manager
    • Forecasting client request checks with demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
    • Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, and processing.
    •  Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
    •  Manage and control of stock count process
    • Run reports and present to various stake holders

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
    • 1 -2 years experience in a similar role
    • Computer literate (Excel, Word , outlook, Pride and WMOS)
    • Advanced SAP Knowledge
