Inventory Financial Controller at Pollock & Associates

• A well-established technical services organisation requires an experienced Finance Controller – Inventory to take ownership of inventory governance, stock accuracy, replenishment planning, and inventory-related financial controls across multiple branches nationally.
• This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of inventory transactions within the ERP system, driving stock count programmes, managing replenishment calculations for imported parts, supporting inventory-related imports, and assisting operational teams in maintaining accurate stock holdings and financial records.
• This role suits a highly accurate, energetic professional with strong expertise in inventory control and a commitment to operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric essential
• Post-matric qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field advantageous
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within a finance environment with inventory control as a primary responsibility
• ERP systems experience essential; Syspro advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting ability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel nationally when required

Key Responsibilities

• Process inventory purchase orders and stock transactions
• Coordinate rolling stock counts and stock reconciliations
• Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions
• Manage replenishment planning for imported inventory
• Maintain stock codes, minimum stock levels, and inventory master data
• Support import clearing, supplier returns, and inventory improvement projects
