A well-established business is seeking to appoint an Inventory & Logistics Officer
Qualifications:
B-Tech Engineering in Supply Chain Management or similar
National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or similar
N5 Certificate in Supply Chain Management or similar AND
Valid driver's license
Experience:
BTech qualification coupled with 5 years related experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management OR
National Diploma coupled with 6 year srelated experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management
N5 coupled with 8 years related experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management
Knowledge of PFMA and Supply Chain Management legislation
Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and supply chain regulations and principles and sub-contracting practices in either engineering or construction environments.
Good understanding of procurement principles in the public sector
Good team player with the ability to work and interact at senior levels.
High levels of judgement and ethical standards.
Must be able to and have experience in finances, people, project teams and contracts.
Must be attentive to detail and accuracy.
Competent in Microsoft applications
Advanced knowledge of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) software or similar (advantageous)
